Cyprus
Cyprus is the third largest island in the
Mediterranean and lies on the crossroads of the three
continents of Europe, Asia and Africa. There are over
300 days of sunshine a year, making this one of the
healthiest climates in the world.
The history of the island goes back over 9000
years. Due to its strategic position, many conquerors
have used Cyprus as a base, and the archaeological
sites such as mosaics, castles and ancient theatres
found all over Cyprus bear witness to its rich and
varied history.
The hospitality of the Cypriots is unforgettable
